Beaches in the city
- Playa del Cura: central, wide boulevard, many amenities
- Playa de los Locos: popular with surfers and young people
- Playa del Acequión: calm water, close to the harbor
Just outside Torrevieja
- La Mata: long sandy beach with dunes, a bit quieter
- Cala Ferris: small bay with rocks, great for snorkeling
- Punta Prima: heading south, with a promenade
Praktisch
Most beaches can be reached within ten to fifteen minutes from the accommodation. Bring plenty of water and sunscreen; after a morning training session, the sun is at its strongest around noon.
